You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. -Genisis 50:20

Our Roots

Rooted in truth and built on shared stories of His faithfulness.

Inspired by Psalm 75, which reminds us to give thanks to God and declare His wonderful deeds.

Community 75 is a growing community devoted to honoring God’s goodness by sharing powerful testimonies and stories of His faithfulness in our lives.

What began as a personal journey of overcoming fear and doubt through God’s Word has grown into a mission to encourage others, strengthen faith, and remind every heart that we are rooted in Him and made for more.”

“We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds.

You say, “I choose the appointed time; it is I who judge with equity.

When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm.

To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.

Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak so defiantly.’”

No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves.

It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.

In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.

As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob, who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.” -Psalm 75

Psalm 75 serves as a powerful reminder of God's sovereignty and the assurance of His justice. It encourages believers to trust in God's timing and to remain steadfast in their faith, even in the face of adversity or the apparent success of the wicked. The psalm is both a warning to the arrogant and a source of hope for the righteous, affirming that God's justice will prevail.

Interesting fun facts:

Abraham was 75 years old when God called him to go to Canaan.

7= God rested on the seventh day, perfection

5=Five loaves of bread Jesus feed the multitudes

7+5 = 12

75 is one of those biblical numbers that shows up quietly but meaningfully; it’s tied to transition, continuity, and God’s promises unfolding across generations.

Founder’s Personal Message

Community 75 was born out of a deeply personal journey—one marked by moments of fear, doubt, and longing for steady ground. In a season where uncertainty felt overwhelming, after the loss of nearly my entire family during the Vietnam war, and raised by my oldest sister. I struggled why my family tree had been reduced to five of us left on earth and purpose in life.

Psalm 75 became an anchor: a reminder that God is near, that His name is to be praised, and that He alone is the One who lifts up, establishes, and brings clarity in His perfect timing.

Through that truth, everything began to shift. Fear and death no longer had the final say. Doubt no longer defined the direction. Instead, there was peace in knowing that God is in control—and that His goodness is constant, even in the unknown. It was time to rebuild and restore a new family tree of believers in God faithfulness.

What started as quiet moments with God—praying, reflecting, and holding onto His Word—grew into a deeper calling: to share what He had done. To speak of His faithfulness. To remind others that they are not alone in their struggles, and that there is strength, hope, and renewal available in Him.

Community 75 was created from that place—a response to God’s goodness. A space where testimonies are shared, faith is strengthened, and lives are encouraged to trust Him more fully. Because when we tell of His wonderful deeds, we don’t just remember what He has done—we help others believe in what He can do.

Your story matters. God is faithful. And you are rooted in Him—made for more.

A Calling to Plant and Rebuild

There are seasons in life where everything feels like it’s been stripped back—plans fall apart, confidence is shaken, and what once felt certain now feels unclear. It can feel like loss… like starting over.

But what if it’s not the end?

What if it’s an invitation?

God is not just the One who restores—He is the One who rebuilds with intention.

In Ecclesiastes 3:3, it says there is “a time to tear down and a time to build.” And in Jeremiah 1:10, God speaks of a calling “to uproot and tear down… to build and to plant.”

Sometimes before God builds something new, He allows what is unstable to be removed.

Not to harm you—but to reposition you.

The Call to Plant

Planting requires faith.

You don’t plant because you see the harvest—you plant because you trust what God said. You place something small into the ground, believing that in time, God will bring life from it.

Planting looks like:

  • Choosing faith when fear feels louder

  • Speaking truth when doubt tries to take root

  • Showing up again, even when it’s hard

It’s quiet. It’s unseen. But it’s powerful.

Because what is planted in faith will grow in God’s timing.

The Call to Rebuild

Rebuilding takes courage.

It means picking up the pieces without shame. It means trusting God again when it didn’t go the way you expected. It means allowing Him to redefine what your life can look like.

Rebuilding is not about going back to what was—

It’s about stepping into what God is creating now.

And here’s the truth:

God doesn’t rebuild randomly.

He rebuilds stronger, deeper, and more aligned with His purpose.

Your Story is Part of the Build

What you’ve walked through—the fear, the doubt, the uncertainty—none of it is wasted.

It becomes the soil. It becomes the foundation.

It becomes the testimony that will encourage someone else to keep going.

This is the heart behind Community 75—

That when we tell of God’s goodness, we don’t just look back…We help others move forward.

If you feel like you’re in a season of starting over, you’re not behind.

You’re being repositioned.

God is planting something new in you.

He is rebuilding something stronger for you.

Stay rooted. Stay faithful. Stay willing.

Because what God plants… He will grow. And what God rebuilds… He will establish.

Stewardship Over Ownership

Community 75 operates from a place of stewardship, not ownership.

As a nonprofit foundation, we do not exist to accumulate resources, but to distribute them responsibly—supporting organizations and individuals aligned with our mission to serve, restore, and uplift. We are called to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us, giving Him all the glory.

Katie lives out this calling as a devoted wife to her husband Van, a mother to three children, and a leader within faith-based community spaces. Her life and leadership reflect the heart behind Community 75: to serve, to love, and to follow Christ in obedience.

Community75 exists to honor God by telling of His wonderful deeds. Through testimony, Scripture, and community, we seek to reflect His faithfulness and invite others into a growing family rooted in Christ.

Katie’s personal journey, writing, and speaking ministry extend beyond Community 75. To learn more about her story and calling, you’re welcome to visit her personal website at LasoyKatieSingleton.com or view her speaker biography (PDF).
