Rescued in the Storm

Life began to feel overwhelming in a season when pain, disappointment, and unhealed wounds collided all at once, and the coping strategies that once worked suddenly failed me. It was a turning point that exposed how limited my own strength was, leaving me exhausted and desperate for rescue beyond what I could manage alone. In that hardship, God met me not by instantly changing my circumstances, but through His quiet presence—a surprising peace in breaking moments, timely encouragement from others, and Scripture that felt written just for me.

As I walked through it, God revealed His plan was greater than anything I’d envisioned, using my pain not just to heal me but to move me into purpose. The places of shame, loss, and failure became soil for compassion, ministry, and a new calling, with patterns of redemption emerging over time: doors opening to share my story, women resonating with my testimony, and healing taking root where hurt once reigned. His faithfulness and tender sovereignty became most real—His goodness as steady presence and gentle rescue amid the storm.

This testimony gives me confidence for the future because I’ve seen God redeem what looked wasted, proving nothing surrendered to Him is ever lost. It anchors my trust that He’s still writing my story with the same faithful, rescuing love, turning past pain into purpose and promising even greater chapters ahead. My symbol has to be the life preserver 🛟 because that’s the reminder of who and what God has done for me my entire life.
